If you’re missing one or more of your upper back teeth and you want to replace them with implants, Dr. Cook will need to check first to make sure that your sinuses will allow for proper implantation of the posts. If your sinus is positioned too low, your implant placement may not be successful.
In this case, Dr. Cook may recommend a procedure called sinus augmentation, which essentially “lifts” the sinus into a more beneficial position, allowing for more successful placement of your implants. This procedure is highly successful and we’ve had great results with it.
